That is crazy. The city should at least put in a good piece of Hedge to keep the house safe from debris. And back it with a Concrete wall to stop the cars.

Jeez, that’s lunacy. The poor family.

We had a tree outside out house named Crash due to the sheer number of vehicles that hit it. Living beside an intersection sucks.

I’m going to need to see some pictures and/or footage before I can agree with the assessment of “bad road design”.

Besides, the article clearly states that most if not all crashes resulted from speeding, racing and drunk driving. The city can’t be held responsible for that.
